Yahoo! COO Dan Rosensweig said Friday during the Yahoo! keynote that Yahoo!, Cingular, and the other cellular carriers know darn well that we're all carting around a ton of photos we've taken with our camera phones, but are sitting in memory, unused. Good thing printer manufacturers are trying to get us to do something about this, by printing our phone-photos via Bluetooth.
I own a Canon Pixma MP800 all-in-one printer, which can print nice, glossy photos from any Bluetooth-enabled camera phone. But at CES this little HP Photosmart 475 printer caught my eye, and apparently lots of other eyes, as I had a hard time getting close to the thing. It's small and portable, does borderless 4x6 photos in 45 seconds, takes about any memory card you can throw into it, stores up to 1,000 photos on 1.5 GB of internal memory, and sports a handy LCD. The Bluetooth printer adapter is sold separately, but you can pick those up for around $30.
