Sanyo's Xacti is Xciting

If you want to take high-def video, there's no need to tote a huge camera around on your shoulder. Now you can put an HD camera in your pocket.

The Sanyo Xacti HD1 camera is a slick little number that shoots still photos at 5.1-megapixels, packs a 10x optical zoom, and sports a nifty crystal-clear organic LED display that flips out from the camera's side. Oh yeah, it also shoots HD video, and did I mention that it fits in your pocket? If you're shooting in HD, you can get 28 minutes of video onto its internal memory, and of course you can also add SD cards to your heart's content.

Price? Nice: $799.

At least one video aficionado at the booth said the Xacti would be his next camera. Will it be yours? Add your thoughts below.
