Until now, I've been put off by wireless headsets due to their lack of style or bulky design. Most of the ones I’ve seen on the street are too big to blend in with the wearers’ personal style. But at this CES one company was showing off a compact Bluetooth headset that actually caught my eye, mainly because it didn’t take away from the model’s looks –- the Jabra JX10.
Jabra hired Danish designer Jacob Jensen to design this state-of-the-art headset, which, on top of being stylish, is also quite the featherweight champion, weighing as little as 10 grams. Even its desktop charging cradle is compact, and sleek. But don’t think the company has compromised function for style: In spite of the small form factor (measuring four cetimeters long), the JX10 supposedly features excellent voice reception and clarity, adjusts automatically to ambient noise level, and has up to 6 hours of talk time.
Have you bought into the wireless headset craze? If not, would the Jabra JX10 change your mind? Weigh in with your comments below.
