TV, TV on the Wall...

Who's the biggest of them all? In the span of 15 minutes I managed to spy at least three ginormous plasma TVs that claimed to be the world's biggest -- all sized 102 inches diagonally. (Samsung is the only one now claiming to be the world's largest.) But I turned the corner and walked into Panasonic's booth, only to see that it had unveiled a 103-inch plasma. The setup was so fresh that a workman had just finished putting up a sign (pictured here) seconds before I snapped the photo.

I don't know if Panasonic is rounding up, if it's fudging the measurement, if it's outright lying, or if this really is 103 inches, but for now we have to give them the benefit of the doubt. 103 inches.

Is this the end of the line for plasma technology? Let me know what you think.

What about high-definition projectors? They can provide an excellent image and the price is coming down. Where's the border line between a standard TV and a projector if someone wants a big screen?
